Portfolio Site

The purpose of this assignment was to use a CMS to create a portfolio site for ourselves.

Are you proud of what you created here? Why?

I am proud of what I made here. It took me a while to thoroughly think about how I wanted it to represent me. Designing webpages was never something I thought I would be able to do, so considering it came out halfway decent, I'm really happy.

Do you understand how you'll leverage this site moving forward? Explain.

Yes and no. This isn't really something that I think I will use after this class, I don't think at this point in my life I need a online-portfolio because there is not much in my field that I have done. If I did carry forward with this, I think I would leverage my site but making it more career associated. When I get into what I want to do, I will use that to further the design and intent of this site.

What area of your portfolio site do you feel is the strongest? Why?

I really like the look of my overall design. I think my design really resonates with my personality, with the color and background design, it fits.

What area do you feel needs the most work? Why?

My project area, absolutely. I don't have anything at the current moment that I have done, outside of school assignments, that is anything note worthy. Hopefully in the future I will have more to use.

What are 3 goals you'd like to set for yourself when revisiting this site in upcoming portfolio courses?

When revisiting this site, there are a few goals I would like to accomplish. The first would be having more/better quality projects to use on my site. I would also like to have more experience in the media world. The last goal I have would be to possibly add a skill section, and have plenty of skills to add.
