The purpose of this assignment was to research CMS, and to decide which one we are going to use for our fictitious brand. After deciding which one to use, we were to start the ball rolling on designing a website.

I chose WIX as my platform because I have previous experience with it. I had initially made it for school, as somewhere we can post assignments on our blog. Having previous experience, made me a little more comfortable with the system itself. My experience with WIX has been fairly good, although I am not a pro, I feel good enough to be able to use it to develop my webpage for the fictitious brand.

For the theme itself, I chose it because it is very simple. It gives me a lot of room to change and adapt it to what I need for Reel Deal Tacos. For example, the white background allows for a wide range of change. The simplicity is the biggest leverage. I can change almost anything to fit the needs of my clients, the layout can change, the color scheme can be adapted, most of what I have can be adapted to fit their needs.

As for other CMS, I haven't really had any other experiences. I took a quick look at Wordpress and Weebly, but since I had previous experience with WIX, I thought it would be a lot easier to stick with the one I knew more about. They all seemed similar, but I am sure that they all have their ups and downs.
